I knew it had to happen someday. But it seems that Matt has caught the fishin' bug.
These are pics (from Jodi - THANK YOU!) from the Overnight Scout Camp trip that Stann took Matt on (you know...the one from a previous post http:/boring-mcnamees.blogspot.com/2008/07/ugh.html where Josh emptied a bottle of KY on the floor and Stann fell on his butt while we were scrambling to get them all ready to go on said trip?!)
Matt caught his first fish up there. He and his Daddy cast out their line, Matt reeled it in and Stann and Matt gutted it, and then Matt ate it. Every last bite. Not the tail though. Apparently Stann didn't know that's one of the best parts of a trout, when you fry it in the pan...! (How could he NOT know that?! Sounds disgusting, but TRY it....I think you'd be surprised. It was my fave as a kid....!)
Anyways....just HAD to post them, 'cause my boys are just so darn cute!!!! :)

I totally get the eating the tail thing! I hope it is not some wierd thing our family does but something quite normal. I loved the tail as a kid. YOur boys are adorable. It looks like they may need a little sister someday. TO much boy and not enough girl. . . trust me! No more living through me. You may not even meet Kayla until she is 10 with our family history of visits. Luvs!!!
