This past week and a half has been busy....
We revisited our home-made water park....
Visiting our dear friends
(who are storing our playhouse until such a time as we figure out WHERE we would like to move to...it's a HARD question to Answer...Washougal - or - Sandy?! That is the question!)
Daddy's out there showing 'em how it's done...
So much water....
So much fun!
And Father's Day was pretty laid back...except for the fact that MY father was in the hospital.
This is the man from whom I get my penchant for having any rare ".005%" of things happening (that Dr's scratch their head over) and landing me in the hospital! ;)
Dad had a blockage in his intestines. That's an NG (nasal gastric) tube pumping stuff out of his stomach - so he could stop throwing up. He's doing much better and back to work...but it definitely WASN'T his favorite Father's Day.
We also go to go visit Daddy at his work....Hunky Hubby let the boys help him drive the fork lift....
This next picture has got to be my current new favorite of all my handsome boys. :)
Everybody gets a turn....Safety first! Make sure no ones behind us before backing up!
A quick look at the shop....the big enclosure is where they do alot of their grinding and spraying...
This is just a little roll....but the boys loved seeing parts of what it is their Daddy does.
I may have had a moment.
I have finally figured out (after finally growing my hair long) that
I AM NOT meant to have long hair.
EVER.
So off with 8 inches! lol
And while it's not the best picture...I'm currently traveling incognito...
My headaches have stopped and I feel ever so much better with all that weight off my head!
And last but not least....Friday night, we had our first ever trip to Kaiser Interstate's Urgent Care.
Matt, my sweet son, fruit of my loins, eldest and most like his Mama...(at least in the lack-of-grace department) had his first trip to the hospital.
I took this picture while we were waiting. I would've taken more, but alas! This was the day that Matt cut my iPhone charger with scissors - and I ended up with NO BATTERY. I was lucky to get this photo!
Matt (rather than asking for help), tried to get the peanut butter himself. It fell from counter height and sliced his toe but good! It bled...a lot. The cut was at an angle so we lucked out - we were sure there were going to be stitches....and the nail looked like it was going to pop off. After an x-ray, they determined it WASN'T broken either. YAY!
We really lucked out though...as we leave for Idaho tonight and I'm counting on being able to toss my kiddo's in the pool at the hotel! No stitches. No toenail removed. We were even given some special tape/stickery stuff (can't remember the name of it right now) of the plastic stuff they put over IV's to help keep the pool water out.
So much stuff. In so little time!
