“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Wolfpack

One of my really good friends has two boys just like mine. We often get together for playdates...and as the boys play, we've noticed something....

Our boys have displayed some funny behavior over the last few playdates....

Loss of shirts...

A fondness for nature...

And a propensity for light-hearted mischievious behavior...

At least, behavior that is portrayed in the Twilight series...

We've noticed they also really like running around together like a pack....howling every chance they get...and like all boys they have a "pack" mentality...with each boy taking turns as the "alpha"...

But I've noticed this is NORMAL behavior in any predominantly male household!

In our talks (because...I mean...who doesn't do "what if" scenarios - OR - impose fiction in "real life"?)  We've often mused aloud - the characteristics of our sons/husbands and what archtype they would be cast in - if life were like the Twilight movie. ;)

(We come up with some pretty crazy stuff.)

Thus after much deliberation, it was really no surprise that Hunky Hubby would be cast in an Alpha male werewolf role....and Mindy's honey would be a vampire....lol

But the kids are all werewolf.... ;)

wow the similarities are amazing between the two pictures it had me laughing to tears. We love your family, when we get together we have so much fun and it is relaxing to be our fun free selves even if it is out in the wild with no shirts (boys only) so be it :p
