“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Prayer Share

Last night we gathered together for family prayer.  Nothing out of the ordinary...just trying to get the kiddo's off into bed so we could get Stann packed for his trip to Connecticut.  We have a rule in our house, that whoever said the prayer last - gets to pick the person for the next prayer.  Matt had said the previous prayer and decided to pick Stann since he wouldnt' be here for the next week.  But before Stann could get started, Josh had already begun saying the prayer!

It was cute...we all scrambled quickly to get ourselves reverent quickly, and about halfway through, he stops and then looks up and says "Okay Dad, you finish.  We're sharing a prayer."

Stann - quick thinking responds quickly with an "okay buddy" and finishes the prayer.

Nothing too spectacular...but pretty darn cute.  Nights like this make me appreciate that:

#1 - They CAN share!  Even though they say they can't sometimes.

#2 - They know how to pray - they've been taught!

AND lastly...

#3 - They're excited to do so!
