“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Robertson Family Reunion

July 14th, 3:30ish, I went to the Robertson Family Reunion at Gresham City Park. I got to see my Aunts, Uncles and several cousins that I don't get to see very often. FYI: Robertson's are my Mom's side...and where I get most of my physical characteristics from....(Temperment is more from the Hammons' side...) Pictures L-R: Original Robertson Kids of Melba & Harold Robertson: Donna Hill, Ted Robertson (That's MY Grandpa), Joyce Fields (and missing from pic but still loved & missed: Bob Robertson).

It was a nice BBQ...good food and company! The weather was HOT. It was almost 90 and I was single parenting that day....Stann was on a Scout Campout...but we had a pretty good time...my kids were pretty shy...didn't really know who anyone was, so wanted to cling to my side...which is NOT comfortable in 90 degree heat! We left about 5:30ish, because I am NOT a glutton for punishment...my kids were tired, cranky, wanting their Daddy and were a bit overwhelmed by everything. But we still had fun! Pictured above: Hammons kids: Cami, Jake, Jonas, Emma, Diana, Kim, Avery, Michael, Liz, Matt, Josh, Narda (Mom) & Jim (Dad).
