“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Sore Throats, Traps & Breakfast in Bed

Matt has fully recovered!  [thank goodness]  He´s finally eating normal and we have few more weeks to go to get him back to where he was weight wise.  He looks like one of those kids you see on commercials...you know for Unicef...bones popping out and all.

I´ve gotten some pretty dirty looks when I have him at the store with me.  Apparently, upon first glance the general consensus is that I starve my child.  {as if!}

But on the front of bad news....I´ve come down with a humdinger case of strep throat...which I am trying hard to NOT pass on to my boys....Chrissy has it too....along with 4 out of 5 of Curt and Aimee´s kids...and though I´m not sure how I got it...since I haven´t seen the kiddos in two weeks...?  I just hope Matt doesn´t get it...it would be awful to get a bad case of strep on a newly healed throat.

Side note:  Hunky Hubby comes home tonight.  Matt has `traps´ set up to lock him up and keep him home.  And has planned an elaborate breakfast in bed consisting of: waffles, eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns that I have been instructed to get up and make tomorrow morning.

We´ll see about that.

I have an appointment with a bottle of Nyquil for tonight...at least until the penicillin kicks in and lightens the fire that is currently smoldering in my throat.
