“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Rain, rain....Go away!!

I'm feeling it.

Feeling like Noah that is.

You think Noah ever got stir crazy on the ark? 'Cuz it's been two weeks of major showers with brief intervals of sun and I'm going nuts!

I'm tired of the rain and wetness. I want the sunshine back! Funny thing to say, for a native Oregonian....but I'm pretty sure my feet are webbed and pruny and I'd like to see the sun soon.

I've also noticed a direct correlation between:

Weather + My mood + Energy + Productivity

Although....yesterday between shower breaks, there was a brief patch of sunlight...and I made four loaves of whole wheat bread.

I'd also like to be able to send my children OUTSIDE to play.

And mow the lawn. The lawn definitely needs to be mowed. I'm thinking when I actually get to mow it...I may find a car. It's been that long.

OH! And if you want to read a really good book, try Jessica Day George's book: Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow. It was recommended to me by my BFF Mel. :P Soooo good! It's a very sweet, simple story, that's almost Beauty and the Beast like. Almost.

Way good though.

Now I'm off to do laundry. I've got 4 more loads to wash and about 8 other loads that are in various stages of the fold and put away process.

TTFN. :D

It will end soon and then we'll be complaining about how hot we are, (well maybe not). It is weird how the sun seems to boost our energy level. Good Job on the bread!
