“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Random Thought.

I love seeing Christmas through my kids' eyes.

Everything is so new!  The tree...the lights...the buying of presents...the TV shows...

They're seeing everything for the first time...and its amazing

Re-telling them about Jesus' birth...making holiday cookies...it's all so precious!  I know I sound like a "Gag me!" kinda Mom...but, really, you'd have to be a Scrooge to not be touched by their excitement!

I just love it.  I know all too soon...it'll be "I want this" or we'll be pulling teeth to get them to participate in family activities...but for right now...I'm just so happy to see their faces light up and the joy that they find in the smallest things and bring with them wherever they go. :)
