“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Blog Post #244

It's 6:33 pm, Christmas Day.  Do you know where your family is?

I do.

Stann's trying to nap (unsuccesfully) on the couch.

Matt is playing with his newly acquired Christmas tools that he's been dying to play with for the majority of the day.

Josh is...

Wait.

Where's Josh?

{Fast forward 4 1/2 minutes, one chase around the house, and a confiscated new lunch box from a favorite Aunt Chrissy - that's filled with Christmas candies....}

Josh is currently trying to induce a sugar-coma.

And me...I'm propping my eyelids open....trying to stay awake....so I can make Blog Post #245 a post about our best Christmas ever. :)

Not that we received or even spent a lot of money...we didn't.  But I think that's part of what made it so great.  Getting time to reconnect with family, enjoying my adult siblings company, eating yummy food, skype-ing with relatives far off....It's just....great.

Merry Christmas.
