{Time for another letter....my apologies! But I needed to do this... ;) }
Ahem. (Clearing throat)
Dear Mr's Foxworthy, Engvall & Cable Guy,
Thank you, thank you, thank you - for a wonderful and enjoyable night last night. I had bought your tickets back in November, for my sweet husband's Christmas present - and I am glad to say, I was NOT disappointed. :)
The seats I bought were in the fourth row - as I'm sure you know - I was the middle-aged lady laughing her butt off and grabbing her husband's arm - and periodically looking at said husband with a "That's us!" expression everytime you described your relationship with your own spouses.
Mr. Engvall, you did an amazing job of opening the show; I especially enjoyed you talking about your wife and how after 25 years of marriage you're working on "spicing" things up in the bedroom by greeting her in nothin' but a red ribbon - only to have to hide out in the closet for 45 minutes because she brought your friends home with her. ;)
Mr. Foxworthy, again, your wit astounds me! Your retelling of your first colonoscopy I have to admit, had me laughing so hard, I had tears running down my face and I had a hard time staying in my chair!! I was somewhat incapacitated - but loved every minute of it. :)
Mr. Cable-Guy.....even though your humor tends towards the potty-variety - you are still very, very funny - and I thoroughly enjoyed your rendition of "Armour Hot Dog's" jingle, as sung in an Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. ;) (LMBO...) I will never look at a hot dog the same way again. :P
Gentlemen, thank you so much for helping us forget our cares and troubles for two hours. It was thoroughly enjoyable. :)
Sincerely,
The 4th row husband grabbing lady. :)

Can I just say...this wasn't the ONLY excitement for the night?! (LOL)
*We decided to ride MAX and save a little $ on parking.....and gas - so we parked the van at my parents and walked to the station. We're on the train -
First off....can I puh-lease explain that it's probably been 8 years or so since we last rode MAX?!
We get to Gateway and then the announcer lady said something about Blue-Line and City Center/Beaverton...? And STANN thought she said that if we wanted to go to the City Center we needed to hop off....so, we did.
Ummm...can I just interject here....that what the announcer actually said was that the train was HEADED there?! ;)
We were already running late - this made us even more so. Eventually we were able to figure out the green line could get us where we needed to go - so we booked it over to the train...and made it there 5 minutes before the show started. :P
*Anyone know JEFF GIANOLA?! For those out of state - he's a newscaster on Koin 6 news. (We don't actually watch his network - we prefer Fox 12....) But anyhoo....
He was in the 3rd row - in front of us. LOL. I thought he was liberal...but I guess not. 'Cuz most "liberal's" don't like Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and especially....Larry the Cable Guy.
Anyways...the show got over - they did the "I believe..." portion (LOVE THAT!!! Can't believe I got to see them do this!! In person!!!) where the four of them come back to the stage and start their little "discussions" (LOL) and since we were on the floor, we were the last to get out. Anyways....
We have to wait...all of us on the floor did - but Jeff Gianola & his wife sat in front of us - Stann and I were standing - while we were waiting to get out.
I was looking around at the crowd....I was super surprised we didn't run into anyone we knew there?! When Stann yanks on my hand, starts walking and says "We gotta go. I just cropdusted Jeff Gianola."
I couldn't help it. I laughed. It's not like he could help it...but the timing....the person....the location...?! Stann didn't help me contain my laughter when he then said..."And it was baaad..."
So we looked back - sure enough he and his wife had moved. (Don't blame 'em....Stann's been known to peel the paint off a fence outside....)
Sooooo.....I'm sorry Mr. Gianola. Stann really didn't mean to - it wasn't on purpose - but we had eaten homemade Chicken Fajitas before we left....and....well.....Sorry.

Would that I could tell you this stuff was made up - but this is our life, folks.
AND...Seriously.....this was one of the FUNNIEST nights of my life!!

So glad you guys got to go! Sounds soooo hilarious. Laughing and date night are good things. Nate and I went and saw Jay Leno live years ago, so fun!
