“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

The 1st knock-knock....

Matt has come of age.

He's told me his first knock-knock joke. (He's 4! EEK!)

Matt: Mom! Mom! I gotta joke to you....(not 'for' me...'to' me.)
Mom: Okay. What's your joke?
Matt: Knock-knock. Who's there.
Mom: Honey, you say 'knock-knock' and I say 'who's there'.
Matt: Okay. Knock-knock, Mommy.
Mom: Who's there, Matt?
Matt: Boo!
Mom: Boo, who?
Matt: Don't cry Mommy...It's just a joke!

Followed by uncontrollable peals of laughter from him - and brother - that didn't stop for five minutes.

They crack themselves up. Me, too. :)

{sigh}

Ain't it just somethin' that he's old enough to 'get' jokes?! (Now this is the part where I wax on about time going by quickly....and yada, yada, yada...)

But, as far as jokes go....this one was a beaut'. :)
