Cross your fingers. Say a prayer or two even! We've submitted Stann's application to Clackamas County Sheriff's Department. We should know fairly soon if we made the cut-off for next months testing. IF (BIG IF) he passes an oral, written test and background test - followed by a psychological and physical test, he can go to the Academy where he will spend 4 months away from the LOVES of his life...(That's ME (the wife!) and our 2 little boys.... )
We've been praying for some time to find a better line of work (get him OFF his knees laying floor - it just rips your body apart!) and we'll find out shortly if it is in fact what the Lord wants us to do. So, cross your fingers and remember him in your prayers! I figure if the Lord wants him he'll help us - and even help me to cope with being a Cop's wife!
