February 12, 2008...Katelynn made her way into the world today! All 8 lbs 12 oz, 21" of her! This is Curt & Aimee's (Curt is Stann's brother - #2 of the 7) 4th child, my 2nd niece on the McNamee's side! (I have only 2 other nieces on the Hammons' side...there's a great influx of only male children produced by my sisters...!)
She's a total cute little chunk, isn't she?! I can say chunk, because believe it or not, my boys were smaller than she is...(Matt 8lbs 6oz, Josh 7lbs 4oz AND she's a couple weeks early believe it or not!) Aimee (my SIL) did great and is now getting some much deserved rest. I couldn't make it down there today (sigh) we've all got colds up here....!
(SIDE NOTE: Argh! Me and my two boys....we're going on very little sleep and trying to get better quickly so we can go visit! (Vitamin C rounds for everyone!) Seeing her pic makes me want another baby. (BIG sigh) Know of anyone who's looking to place a child??! (LOL - only sorta kidding...wouldn't turn anyone down!) And she totally makes me want another...even tho' the newborn stage is BY FAR...not my fave! I just think Stann deserves a girl. Plus I just want a daughter, so I'm not so outnumbered - and think of all the fun with dresses! (At least until she's 4 and has her own opinion!)
Anyways....she's a cutie and a keeper and we're very lucky to haver her in our fam! And I'm now totally chomping at the bit for our 3rd....(PREFERABLY A GIRL!) Although it'd probably be better to wait until Stann figures out what he wants to do for work BESIDES floorlaying - as that business has really started to deteriorate!! But keep us in your prayers tho' - 'Cuz as everyone knows, there's NEVER a good time to have another child! Happy Almost V-Day!
