Oh my how time flies!
Stann turned 35 this year. I'm still ahead, but he's got the gray hair...not me!
It all evens out when I can say that I bleach my hair strictly to get it blonde, not because I'm going gray yet. (I may have sucky genes when it comes to my health, but hey! I got long eyelashes, pretty eye color, full lips and no grays at 36! LOL) I also realize how lucky I am to be able to say that at my age!
Birthdays are simple for Stann and I. The boys bought him some screwdrivers, candy bars and a couple of Dad's rootbeers and creme sodas. He loved it. We were just grateful he was in town with us on his special day. So glad we have him!! He's an awesome Daddy, great friend and amazing husband! :)
Josh got a fake mustache out of the vending machine.
Um, yeah, I know. He's cute.
Picture day preview.
I gave them two outfits to choose from and they chose these. Betcha you can't guess why...but you probably can!
Army. 'Nuf said.
I feel I must explain this next picture BEFORE it's seen.
Sunday (9/30/12) we woke up and were getting ready for church. I took 20 minutes to get myself ready - and came out to get the boys dressed (since I'd bathed them the night before). This was what awaited me.
At fifteen minutes before we were supposed to walk out the door to get to church on time...Tiger Josh struck again! (You can't see it because I cropped it [he was in unders]...but he has stripes allllllll the way down his legs too!)
He was pouncing around the house (in a manner that would make even Tigger proud!) saying "Raaahr!" and sometimes hissing and making clawing motions with his hands.
Now, being a true artist, Josh knows you've got to sell it. How can you possibly be an authentic tiger if you don't have stripes?!
I imagine his internal monologue went something like this:

I imagine his internal monologue went something like this:
JOSH: What?? A marker?! Just lying there? God must want me to be a tiger today! Hallelujah!
Yeah, there was divine intervention alright....! He was extreeeeemely lucky I laughed instead of blowing up and busting a gasket on his cute little hiney! 'Cuz usually I'm cranky if we're late!
I'm also finding new ways to occupy my time:
JOG-A-THON!
I spent the morning there helping out - handing out waters to the kids who didn't bring any. This is Josh's class.
Some of Josh's teachers and friends....
Mrs. Brown's kinder class lined up and raring to go!
Mrs. Convery's class...
Seriously funny. It was like trying to herd kittens. They were physically incapable of staying in the boundaries. But oh-so-cute!
Josh's class - after the run! Way to go guys!!
I couldn't be there for Matt's allotted time, but Mindy was kind enough to take pictures for me - since I didn't have anyone able to watch Josh so I could volunteer.
Matt walked. It's been unseasonably warm!!! It was 76 while they were running.
In October!!!
Stayin' with the pack...
Such a serious boy!
So much stuff going on!! I can't believe how quickly time is passing - and how much my boys have grown!!
