“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

MATT & JOSH MEET SANTA CLAUS!

The title is self-explanatory. We went to the mall and met Santa. The boys did REALLY good. The Santa was very nice (you can't see it in the photo but Santa has a 14" long pony tail in back...didn't know Santa was a biker, did you?!) but the "elves" had some B.O. issues....!

All in all, it was a GREAT time. Kids did really good - no one cried like last year - but we couldn't get them to smile at the same time....and Matt looks like he channeled Elvis - with the way his hips were moving and his lip curled....!

It was really fun though - and brought back a lot of old Christmas memories.....the piles of gifts (my Mom DOESN'T wrap gifts...never has), color coded (8 kids, 3 boys, 5 girls, 3 of whom are 2 1/2 years apart...so we each got the same thing but color coded), new underwear, and of course, a bag of peanuts and an orange in the toe of our stockings. SIGH.

I hope you all take the time to remember some of your favorite Christmas memories....and live a little through your kids. :) Merry Christmas everyone!
