May has been one hectic blur.
Stann has been out of town for 2 weeks....and during that time:
*I've had 2 gallbladder attacks.
*I've had to haul Josh into the doctor to be checked for a) hernia and b) skin infection {which ended up being bug bites that got infected and also caused an infection in his leg -- i.e. red "streaks"}
*Matt and I have had the extreme version of "Battle of Wills"....
*I finally got in to see my own doctor...establishing patient care at Kaiser (reacquainting myself with the system...) and have been in and out of the doctors offices catching up with referrals and follow-ups:
- 6 month Mammogram to track the growth of the as of yet unidentified lump
- Genetic Testing to see if I carry that funky ol' mutated cancer gene...that's been perpetuated through the Robertson line...
- Meeting with the surgeon to discuss my options of said lump and gene
*And the piece de la resistance...(for me at least) TWO Sundays of Sacrament meetings & such SANS the hunky hubby...
Only those with extremely energetic children can really understand what this not only means but also implies...Cuz..It's been a regular ol' party...
But I've also...
*Had some awesome playdates for the kids...
*Got extra cuddle time with the boys...
*Spent a great deal of time with my parents & siblings...
*Caught my laundry up...
*Organized the bills...
*Had the bed all to myself! (at least until 2 am when the gremlins join....)
All in all...not bad! Especially considering: there are only 4 weeks left of school, and 5 weeks until vacation! :D
Yay!
