“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Too. Fast.

Time is going by too fast.  Way. Too. Fast.

Kindergarten has started for Matt.  Pre-school is in session for Josh.  (Unfortunately they're only gone for 45 minutes together - which reeeeaaaallly puts a kai-bosh on any kind of "errand" running without kiddo's.

Fall Term starts next week!  :/  So crazy - but true.  Did I mention I'm not exactly thrilled to be going back?  I've gotten used to having time to myself.  Time to volunteer in Matty's class.  Help with homework.  Time to prepare lessons for church.  Time to read.  Time to write.  Time to....well, you get the idea.

As my load has increased, so has Stann's.  Not only in supporting me and my decision to finish school, but also because he was called as the Elder's Quorum President. Again.  Because apparently he didn't get it right the first time.  (ha, ha)

Basketball starts quickly here too.  They've switched Volleyball and Basketball around.  Oughtta be interestin'.  Just sayin'...The fundamentals of basketball have to be taught....and it takes a little time to get the hang of it. ;)

There are times, like today, that I want to push "pause" on my life.  Just to breathe.  Stop.  Enjoy what's going on around me - without feeling like all these things are flying past me - and I'm left spinning in a daze, unable to catch up to what's going on around me. ;)

I'd like to say the spinning sensation will stop...yet...I know I'd better plan on being dizzy for a good, long, while.

In the mean time, I'm going to put my rollerskates on and just try to keep up with the whirlwind of my life. :)
